Trick or Treat?

Here's an interesting question to ask yourself. Do you view fitness as a trick or a treat? The answer to this question can determine if you will fail or succeed in living a fit life. Don't believe me, read on.

I've had clients who absolutely hated working out. They did it but yet they don't quite get it. To them, fitness is a trick. It something they know they should be doing but if something else comes up there is a good chance they are skipping the workout that day. Most likely they make poor food choices when given the opportunity and are complaining because they don't get the results they want. Undoubtedly, they will quit there program because "it's not working"

I have other clients that view fitness as a treat. They know that their life is bettered by being in shape, having extra energy, looking great and thinking clearly. They fully understand that fitness is as much a part of their life as breathing. They make the right food choices most of the time and try to get the right amount of sleep each night. They know if they do these things, the rest of their life gets a lot better.

It's a mindset really. Do you live the transformation lifestyle because you should or because you want to? Do you really get it? Once you get it, you'll fully understand that fitness is all treat and no trick. Happy Halloween!
